Ukrainian scenography of the 50s – 80s underwent a change in figurative vocabulary. The painted sceneries of socialist realism were replaced by effective scenography, scenography of the Great Style. It became important for it to create an image and an associative series. Accordingly, the theatrical costume acquires a new meaning. Elements of scenography, its structure, subjectivity, and costumes with their texture built their dramaturgy. At the same time, the interrupted connection with the Ukrainian Avant-garde is being restored, about which begin to talk and arrange exhibitions to forgotten artists.
