She graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (1981, D. Lider’s workshop).
In 1981-1989 she worked at the O. Dovzhenko Kyiv Film Studio.
Since 1989 – Chief Artist of the National Opera of Ukraine.
She created costumes for movies.
Honored Worker of Arts of Ukraine (1995). Laureate of the T. Shevchenko National Prize of Ukraine (2003). Knight of the Order of Princess Olga III (2001) and II (2015) degrees. Academician of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine (2017). National Artist of Ukraine (2006).
