1897 – 1950
In 1919 -1921 he worked as a decorator at the First Theater of the Ukrainian Soviet Republic.
In 1922, Konstantin graduated from the Kyiv Art Institute (now the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture, a student of M. Boichuk). Then he taught drawing at the Kyiv Art and Industrial College.
He was a member of the first Odessa Ukrainian Music and Drama Theater, founded in November 1925 by the theatrical season of “State Drama”.
Until 1941 Yeleva taught at the T. Shevchenko State Art High School. During the German-Soviet War of 1941–1945, he took part in creative caricature posters for the “TARS Windows”.
From 1949 he was a professor at the Kyiv Art Institute.
